CONCEALED PRESENCE

group exhibition at @gr_und

Jill Kiddon, Flavio Degen, Wie-yi T. Lauw

18.10. - 9.11. 2024

It feels like public and private life
And desire
Is glitching all the time
From Exterior to Interior
There is a transition
Via exchange
(another way of change)
From Interior - to X

The transformation happens unnoticed, gradually
Like hairpins in ziplock, moisture inside accelerating the process of corrosion
Like my natural environment sucking me without a sound
Like I suck
X
My Exterior
Its surface is darker than my skin

I breath in and exhale
These are my holes
Breathing in as my fingers press
Against the edge
Open then close
Sweat slips
Pressing down
Against the edge
Of a key
A doors shadow
Little bunny
Metal baby
It’s metal
Death metal
Planted between my teeth like a rose
